These feel sturdy and secure without being overly stiff or uncomfortable. They did take a little time to break in, but once they did, they’ve been great on rough trails. Easy 5 stars from me...

But the exchange was way easier than I expected. Customer service got back to me quickly, explained exactly what to do, and the return label was simple to use. The new size showed up faster than I thought it would too. Overall, I felt like they handled it fairly and made the whole thing painless.

I’ll give credit where it’s due — these are clearly made with care. The stitching is neat, the leather feels sturdy, and nothing about it comes across as cheap or thrown together. I’ve used mine a handful of times now and it still looks great. For the quality, I think it’s only fair to say this is a solid buy.

I’ll admit, I didn’t think I’d care that much about how easy these boots were to lace up, but the ones I got from schnees.com kind of won me over.

The hooks grab the laces cleanly, and I can get them snug without standing there fighting with them half-asleep in the morning. They’re also surprisingly easy to loosen after wearing them all day.

It’s such a small thing that I almost hate giving them too much credit for it, but it really does make a difference. i’d probably give them 5 stars just for that.

I wasn’t expecting much for the money, because apparently optimism has limits, but this actually turned out to be a good deal. It does what I needed and feels worth what I paid

I’ve had my Schnee’s boots for a couple seasons now, they’re still doing great. Been through plenty of mud, rocks, and whatever else out there, and so far nothing’s coming apart. No loose seams or anything, which is more than I can say for some others I’ve tried.
